Analysis of Common Noise Sources of Industrial Fans

Industrial Fans are widely used in large-scale spaces such as industrial workshops, logistics warehouses, waiting rooms, exhibition halls, stadiums, and super-large spaces, as a common industrial machinery for space ventilation and cooling personnel. The Non-Rotating Wall Fan can push a large amount of air to the ground, forming a certain height of air layer horizontal movement on the ground, which contributes to the overall air circulation. The benefits of this lie in the full range of ground coverage and the three-dimensional circulation of the air. However, the Non-rotating Wall Fan in the factory will inevitably produce noise during work. Today we will summarize the reasons for the noise produced by several Industrial Fans.

Large Energy Saving Wall Fan

1. Wind noise
When a Non-rotating Wall Fan is in operation, noise is generated because the blades are periodically subjected to the pulsating dynamics of the outlet non-uniform flow. On the other hand, due to the uneven pressure distribution on the blade and the blade itself, the disturbance to the surrounding gas and parts during the rotation also constitutes the rotation noise. In addition, the flow of gas through the blades creates turbulent boundary layers, vortices and vortex separations, resulting in blade pressure distribution pulsations and vortex noise. The noise caused by these three reasons can be collectively called wind shear noise. In general, Industrial Fans with larger air volume and air pressure have greater wind shear noise.
2. Vibration
Assuming a Non-rotating Wall Fan rotor is spinning, the physical center of mass of the rotor is not on the same axis as the rotor's center of inertia. The close distance between the rotor's physical center of mass and the rotor shaft's center of inertia is called eccentricity, and rotor imbalance causes eccentricity. When the rotor rotates, due to the centrifugal force, a force is generated in the rotating shaft bracket and vibration is formed, and the vibration is transmitted to all parts of the machine through the foundation path.
3. Different voices
Wind noise sounds only pure wind, different sounds are different. When the Industrial Fans is running, in addition to the wind, if there are other sounds, it can be judged that the Industrial Fans has a different sound. The abnormal sound may be caused by foreign matter or bearing deformation, improper assembly and collision, or uneven winding of the motor winding, resulting in looseness, which may cause abnormal sound.
