For the operation of negative pressure fan, eddy current noise is often generated. How to reduce these noises? The impeller blades of the negative pressure fan are designed and manufactured as swept back twisted blades, that is, the impeller blades of the negative pressure fan are moderately tilted forward at the exhaust outlet and moderately tilted backward at the inlet, which can avoid sharp changes in the gas flow channel. Prevent gas from generating eddy currents, thereby reducing aerodynamic noise generated by centrifugal negative pressure fan.

The installation of mufflers and silencers at the inlet and outlet of negative pressure fans generally utilizes porous media to absorb sound energy. Vortex will frequently collide with the volute and inlet components of the negative pressure fan, resulting in aerodynamic noise. The design and production of rectification rings and baffles can be carried out at the outer periphery of the negative pressure fan volute at the inlet of the negative pressure fan, which can effectively prevent the formation of eddy currents at the inlet of the negative pressure fan, thereby reducing the aerodynamic noise generated by the centrifugal negative pressure fan.
